Counsel on call
What happens when I need a lawyer on a Tuesday?
Most legal questions arrive at an awkward time: a new hire starts Monday, a vendor emails a notice, your landlord wants to renew. If every question means finding a lawyer and asking for a quote, many simply go unasked.
On a monthly plan, you send the question the way you would text a friend who happens to be a lawyer. You hear back within one business day, from a lawyer who already knows your company, and who will tell you plainly when something is bigger than a question.

How it runs
How a month on the plan goes
- 01
Step 1: Sign up once
One call and a short form. We read your formation papers and main contracts, so we know your company before the first question.
- 02
Step 2: Send a question, any way you like
Email, text or a phone call. Attach the document if there is one.
- 03
Step 3: An answer in one business day
A plain reply, and a marked-up document when that is what you need.
- 04
Step 4: A yearly check
Once a year we look at your records and tell you what to renew, update or tidy.
Questions about monthly counsel
What counts as a question?
Anything that a lawyer can answer in writing or on a short call: a clause, a hiring form, a notice, a renewal, a name you are thinking of using.
What if it’s bigger than a question?
Then we say so, and quote that work separately before we start. A lawsuit is never inside the monthly fee.
Can I stop whenever I want?
Yes, at the end of any month. There is no contract longer than the month you are paying for.
